Pension Plan

Carbon County participates in the Wyoming Retirement System.  Employees working 30 hours or more are eligible and are required to contribute a percentage of their wages towards retirement and the county also contributes a percentage.  This is a pension plan and pays a monthly income for life based on your age, years of service and salary.

Click here to visit the pension page of Wyoming Retirement's website.  This will provide plan summaries for regular and law employees as well as retirement calculators.

457 Deferred Compensation Plan
